“ Initially came here for some donuts and kolaches and to be honest, they were just alright. The service is great though, super welcoming and super friendly. But I would skip the breakfast foods here, the kolache wasn't as soft as I liked and the donuts were just okay. But - go for the banh mi! The banh mi is definitely worth it and delicious. And go for the roast pork banh mi too, I think that might be the best one out of them all. Eggrolls are a pretty good price here and a good snack overall. We'll be back for the banh mi! ”
“ I'm so glad my friend showed me this place. The Egg rolls are incredible and the bahn mi is the best I've found in Okc. I also had a mochi donut and oh my goodness it was absolutely amazing. When I walked in my order was taken immediately. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my food. I got 2 bahn mi ham sandwiches, 2 egg rolls and a blueberry mochi donut all for $12.50. I'm so excited to go back and try literally everything on the menu. ”
“ I never knew Quoc Bao Bakery has good sweets until today. In the past, I've came to Quoc Bao Bakery for the Vietnamese baguettes and on occasions egg rolls, which one should because Quoc Bao Bakery is known for their Vietnamese baguettes. This small bakery on 24th and Classen is solely operated by the owner, Mr. Bao, himself. And let me tell you, it is a HARD job. Unlike Lee's or other bigger bakeries, the ventilation system at Quoc Bao Bakery is non-existent, meaning Mr. Bao has to endure the heat of an OVEN year round. I've forgotten how HOT it is inside until coming back today. He is a hard working man and deserved much more. With Mochinut across the street, Quoc Bao Bakery does not offer much varieties of donuts anymore. There was just one type when I came in, blueberry. The donuts and muffins are delicious at Quoc Bao Bakery, better than one would've expected at a Vietnamese baguette shop. In terms of the Vietnamese baguettes, I have to give an edge to Lee's Sandwiches for having better quality overall. What I love the most about Quoc Bao Bakery is the bread, much softer than Lee's. I feel like the quality of the ingredients inside the baguettes is not as good as Lee's. Quoc Bao Bakery does offer buy 3 get 1 free which is a great deal. Having stated the above, one has to wonder why I am giving Quoc Bao Bakery a 5 stars? I feel like besides the criteria of food critics, there should also be humans compassion and understanding. Giving the limited resources to work with, Mr. Bao has done more than an excellent job to provide his customers the best products he could have made, through sheer hard work and will power. I truly feel there is a place for Quoc Bao Bakery in Asian District even with Lee's Sandwiches being not far away. Please support Quoc Bao Bakery. ”
“ It's easy to miss this bakery because it is isolated from the other plazas. I came here because Lee's was closed, but I'm happy to have discovered this place! I've been missing banh mi, and coming from San Jose, it's really hard to beat Vietnamese food from South Bay, Bay Area. They have a small parking lot out front. When you enter, there's a display case of donuts. They're typically about $1 a piece. I didn't try it, but I think I'll stop by in the near future for $10 a dozen. The banh mi are $5 each, and they have a variety of options available. Egg rolls are 5 for $3. I ordered the combination banh mi. It was okay, not terrible. The baguette is soft, but not soft and flakey, more like soft but dense almost? It came with pickled carrots, jalapeños, meat filling, cilantro, and Vietnamese mayo. I'd give the sandwich itself a 3/5 but the service was quick and fast, I was out in less than 5 minutes. It's a little mom and pop shop, and I do love to support local businesses. ”
“ The banh mi sandwiches they have here are incredible (and in many different varieties) and their donuts and pastries are awesome too. They also have excellent Vietnamese egg rolls (Cha Gio), smoothie or bubble tea selections and Vietnamese as well as normal coffee. I got the meatball sandwich plus several of the egg rolls and a donut or two. Also a jalapeño sausage roll (like a kolache) which was simply great. Great beverage selection as well from the freezer. Highly recommended! ”
